On March 14th, B’nai Israel Living History Synagogue & Museum welcomes singer/songwriter Kyle Knapp for a live performance to celebrate Purim during the shul’s monthly Second Friday Shabbat Service. Services begin at 7:30 PM, immediately followed by the concert, and accompanying their traditional post-service Oneg.
Despite being raised in a myriad of small towns across the Midwest and Northeast, Kyle considers the Omaha Metro Area “the closest thing to home I’ve ever had on this planet.” He views his life as a patchwork illustration comprised of songs and stories—a journey rather than a destination—and he describes his music as “gleefully flat-picking, sometimes soft fingerpicking, sometimes strumming feverishly, combining skill and passion as a storyteller to engage in a journey to the soul.”
