About the event
Take a deep dive into local Jewish history! Trace the origins of the places and institutions that have shaped the Jewish community from West Omaha to Council Bluffs since the turn of the last century. The interactive journey begins at Beth El Synagogue where Renee Corcoran will embark with you, on a three-hour tour will showcase former Jewish synagogues (some still standing!), temples, cemeteries, and businesses, winding its way to B’nai Israel Living History Synagogue in Council Bluffs where you will disembark and be greeted by other knowledgeable tour guides to take you through our rich museum exhibits!
